Designer/Fabricator with experience in mechanical design and product development. I have built more than 100 motor vehicles and brought dozens of products for existing vehicles to market. Eight of my motorcycles were commissioned by Princes or Sons of Presidents. I designed the only hydraulic clutch conversion available for the Sportster family of Harley-Davidsons. I am a IATSE local 44 Propmaker with seven years experience specializing in Aluminum fabrication. After transitioning into the design side of productions, I now have experience in all aspects of building for the film industry from start to finish: Communicating with the client, 3d Modeling, creating files for CNC and drawings for fabrication, leading a build team, and installation. I can anticipate the issues during construction and create a design to simplify the job.

Summary

ATS Entertainment Specialists 2015 to Present - Designer

I started with ATS as a Propmaker during the 2015 build for American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja. My experience in Aluminum fabrication helped the company expand their capabilities. I took part in the construction of almost every project until August 2022, sometimes, leading the build crews in my boss’s absence. In August 2022, I moved into a Design role. Today, I create various files and documents for construction: 3d Models, files for CNC and 2D drawings for fabrication. I led the company’s Procore implementation, which is an ERP software that streamlines project management and financials.

Random Engineering LLC 2012 to Present - Owner

I founded Random Engineering after creating a product to convert my personal motorcycle to a hydraulically actuated clutch. With no competitive products available, this seemed like the perfect opportunity to launch my own business. Today, I operate Random Engineering out of my shop in North Hollywood and sell direct to consumers through RandomEng.com

Exile Cycles 2005 to 2015 - General Manager

I started in the shipping department and worked almost every position in the company. One year after moving into vehicle assembly, I was Head Mechanic and responsible for the crew, the schedule, communicating with suppliers and local vendors, vehicle testing and quality control. The company shifted focus to include fabricating products for factory built motorcycles. My role changed to product development. I oversaw designs from the white board sketch through prototyping, testing and into manufacturing. Eventually, I managed daily operations from 2010 through 2015. My time at Exile Cycles gave me experience in complex mechanical assemblies, automotive electrical systems, various welding and machining disciplines and the value of efficient design.
